|Cotto vs Martinez||07 June 2014||HBO||21:00 ET/PT||Madison Squar Garden, New York|
Miguel Cotto ofcourse comes with a record of 38 wins with 4 losses but he has a chance to put his name in the history books with a win over Martinez which will make him 4 division champions and he will be the first puerto rican boxer to achieve such a feat. Cotto is coming into this fight on the back of a massive career saving win over Delvin Rodriguez, while he lost two back to back fights before that.
Sergio Martinez is one accomplished boxer with a record of (51-2-2), he has been undefeated in the last 7 fights though his injury troubles might make his preparation for this fight a little difficult and if Cotto is in shape it will be a great fight and our summer looks full of great boxing PPV events with Pacquiao vs Bradley, Mayweather vs Maidana and Cotto vs Martinez.
There is no love lost between the two:
Martinez wants to settle the score and vows to knockout out cotto as he promised in the press conference that we will find cotto flat on his ass when the fight finishes. Cotto on the other hand is playing hard man, being more serious and avoiding more bust up in the leading up to the fight.
